Currency

The Moroccan Dirham (MAD). Approx 10 MAD = 1 USD/EUR. Cash is king in Souks, but cards are accepted in hotels and malls.

Best Time

Spring (Mar-May) and Autumn (Sep-Nov) are ideal. Winter is great for the Desert. Summer is perfect for the coast.

Etiquette

Morocco is welcoming but modest. Covering shoulders and knees is respectful in rural areas. Friday is the holy day.
