Distance & Driving Briefing

This tour covers approximately 900km round trip. While the landscapes are stunning, please be prepared for significant driving time, especially on Day 3 (approx. 9 hours) returning to Marrakech. We make frequent stops for photos, coffee, and lunch to ensure comfort.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech → High Atlas → Dades Valley

Morning: Pick up at 8:00 AM. Cross the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260m) with panoramic views. Visit the UNESCO site Ait Ben Haddou, setting for Gladiator.

Afternoon: Lunch near the Kasbah. Continue through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses.

Evening: Dinner and overnight in a charming hotel in the Dades Valley, famous for its rock formations.

Drive: ~6 Hours Meals: Dinner Stay: Hotel in Dades

Day 2: Dades → Todra Gorges → Merzouga Dunes

Morning: Walk inside the towering Todra Gorges (300m high canyons). Travel through the palm groves of Tinghir and Tinjdad.

Afternoon: Pass through Erfoud (fossil capital) to reach Merzouga. Meet your camels for a sunset trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Evening: Arrive at your Luxury Desert Camp. Welcome tea, traditional dinner, drums by the fire, and a night in a private ensuite tent.

Day 3: Merzouga → Draa Valley → Marrakech

Afternoon: Lunch in Agdz or Ouarzazate. Cross the High Atlas Mountains again in the afternoon light.

Evening: Arrival in Marrakech around 7:30 PM. Drop off at your hotel.

What should I pack?
